Golden Lily – Velvet fabric with history and character
A design with cult status: Our high-quality velvet fabric Golden Lily brings the iconic look of the 60s back to modern living spaces. The original design dates back to 1899 by none other than J.H. Dearle – but the floral pattern became world-famous when the legendary London fashion label Granny Takes A Trip adopted it in the 1960s for eccentric velvet jackets. Worn by music icons like George Harrison (The Beatles), "Golden Lily" became a symbol of an entire era.
Today, this artful design is experiencing a renaissance – as a luxurious, soft upholstery fabric made from sustainable materials. The dense velvet captivates with its rich color depth and luxurious feel, making it perfect for stylish armchairs, sofas, cushions, or statement furniture. Crafted with a high cotton content, this fabric combines timeless aesthetics with responsible design.
A piece of design history – for everyone who loves interior design and thinks sustainably.

Care Instructions
Please observe the care instructions for each item. Our fabrics should be treated according to their material properties and care recommendations.
For many of our fabrics, due to their special textile finish, cleaning with a brush or a damp cloth is sufficient. Regular airing can also be a suitable way to refresh them, depending on their use.
When cleaning in a washing machine, please note the temperature specified in the respective item description. We recommend washing the fabric on a gentle cycle and at the lowest possible spin speed.
We recommend not tumble drying the fabrics. This can help preserve the material properties and appearance of the fabric.
