Organic linen – 100% linen from certified organic cultivation
Wonderfully soft-draping organic linen fabric in various delicate colors. The organic linen item is woven from white and colored linen yarns. The fabric consists of 100% linen yarn from certified organic cultivation (kbA).
The fabric is produced in a traditional Austrian weaving mill that has been manufacturing high-quality linen since 1832. Careful processing and high-quality yarns characterize the quality of this fabric.
Our supplier is a member of the IVN (International Association of Natural Textile Industry). The linen yarns used come from certified organic cultivation in Europe.
The finishing of the woven fabrics is purely mechanical. This creates a high-quality fabric with a natural look and a pleasantly soft drape.
The organic linen item is wonderfully suitable for sewing clothing such as shirts, blouses, and dresses, as well as for curtains, bed linen, and cushions.

When selecting our fabrics, in addition to quality and workmanship, we also take into account the respective material properties and available manufacturer information. This includes, for example, fabrics made from controlled organically grown fibers or recycled materials.
You can find specific material and certification details directly with each product. For certified organic and recycled fabrics, we refer to the respective manufacturer and product certifications. GrüneStoffe.de itself is not certified as an organic or environmental label as a provider.
Care Instructions
Please observe the care instructions for each item. Our fabrics should be treated according to their material properties and care recommendations.
For many of our fabrics, due to their special textile finish, cleaning with a brush or a damp cloth is sufficient. Regular airing can also be a suitable way to refresh them, depending on their use.
When cleaning in a washing machine, please note the temperature specified in the respective item description. We recommend washing the fabric on a gentle cycle and at the lowest possible spin speed.
We recommend not tumble drying the fabrics. This can help preserve the material properties and appearance of the fabric.
