Cornflower – Printed hemp fabric inspired by John Henry Dearle
A special piece of British design history: "Cornflower" was created based on the original design by the famous artist John Henry Dearle – one of the leading designers of the Arts & Crafts movement.
The striking tendril motif in Dearle's unmistakable style shows a vibrant composition of tulips, acanthus, daisies, and, of course, the cornflower itself. The floral elements are accompanied by a characteristic dotted background, which adds depth and structure to the design.
The fabric combines historical design with a modern manufacturing process. "Cornflower" is made of 100% hemp fabric and is digitally printed in England. Hemp is a robust natural fiber and, due to its material properties, is suitable for durable textile applications.

Care Instructions
Please observe the care instructions for each item. Our fabrics should be treated according to their material properties and care recommendations.
For many of our fabrics, due to their special textile finish, cleaning with a brush or a damp cloth is sufficient. Regular airing can also be a suitable way to refresh them, depending on their use.
When cleaning in a washing machine, please note the temperature specified in the respective item description. We recommend washing the fabric on a gentle cycle and at the lowest possible spin speed.
We recommend not tumble drying the fabrics. This can help preserve the material properties and appearance of the fabric.
